Decentralized game customized by community

Haven’t we all wanted to add some special features to a game we’re playing? Well, unless game developers create a special content just for you (highly unlikely), this is not possible. At least in the centralized games’ world.

Decentralization (and its inherent interoperability) changes everything, allowing almost endless possibilities. The code of a decentralized game being open-source, people can create their own plug-ins in the form of smart contracts that will talk directly to the game. Yesterday one such plug-in to the decentralized game Dark Forest built on Ethereum was released by members of the game community. This plug-in introduced a play-to-earn possibility to the game – another outstanding advantage of crypto gaming.
How cool is that?
