Crypto and basketball love story

There’s a special chemistry between crypto and basketball.

?NBA Top Shot NFT collectibles’ series is 5th most-traded ever (DappRadar), with almost $1.5Bn volume

?Coinbase signed a multiyear sponsorship deal with NBA.

?FTX has not only signed partnerships with Kentucky University’s Wildcats and Miami Heat, but also bought the rights to rename Miami Heat’s home court from American Airlines to FTX arena. The deal reportedly cost $135M.

?Crypto.com com is based in Singapore, but apparently loves basketball just as much: it has secured the naming rights to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, home to NBA’s Lakers and Clippers, for $700M.

?The players themselves start to dive into crypto: Spencer Dinwiddie made news last year by tokenizing his contract, and a rising star Cade Cunningham has recently signed a partnership with BlockFi.

With over 400M fans all over the world, basketball may very well contribute to the rising crypto adoption ⛹️
