Crypto adoption booming in Vietnam

How are thing going with crypto adoption?
A recent survey by Finder, a financial product comparison website, revealed an outstanding crypto adoption in South-East Asia, with Vietnam leading the way with as many as 41% of responders saying they own #crypto. Other countries in the region, such as Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Philippines, report 28-30% adoption. Overall among the 27 countries surveyed 19% of responders would own some crypto.
These figures are of course to be taken with a grain of salt: this online survey was conducted via Google, with 1160-2511 respondents per country, not always nationally representative due to the differences in Google infrastructure.

It shows, however, an increasingly positive attitude of South-Asians towards cryptocurrencies: with cheaper remittances, easier access to finance and alternative possibilities to gain their living crypto is proving itself useful in the region.

It’s a pity though that Finder didn’t survey more African countries like Nigeria or Zimbabwe – we could have seen surprising figures there too.
