Twitter launches another crypto adoption wave

What could be better for a global crypto adoption than a social network of over 350M monthly active users who are now allowed to tip and receive tips in Bitcoin ?

In a partnership with Strike, a company that developed non-custodial Lightning Network-enabled wallet, Twitter users can instantly and almost free of charge send money to their favourite accounts or other users who set the “Tip Jar” option in crypto.

No banks, no intermediaries, no delay, (almost) no fees. It’d be about time to close the obsolete “Bitcoin is not a means of exchange” debate.

What’s more, Twitter reports to consider an NFT verification system, which would be a considerable step to integrating it into the metaverse.
