Money continues pouring into crypto ventures

Crypto and Web3 continue to attract big money.

Last year over $31Bn was poured into crypto ventures, and it looks like this year is not going to fall behind.

? Famous crypto venture firm Pantera Capital announced that it has raised $1.3 billion for its Blockchain Fund, which will invest in Web3 startups.

? Circle, the issuer of a centralized stablecoin USDC, announced a $400M funding round (with investments from finance giants like Blackrock and Fidelity).

? Uniswap Labs, developer of the unanimous DEX, has launched a venture capital arm to invest in Web3.

? MoonPay, crypto payments service with a particular taste for celebrities, announced that Matthew McConaughey, Questlove and Gwyneth Paltrow will be joining its star pool of investors, already counting Steve Aoki, Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton and Bruce Willis.

And this is just this week.

Crypto is the industry of the future and investing into its ventures can be very profitable. #A16z general partner Chris Dixon can witness to that: the man who has turned a $350M Crypto Fund into $6Bn has recently made it to the Forbes’ “Midas List” of the world’s best venture capital investors in 2022.

Seeing the future definitely pays off.
