Do You want the dollar to be the currency of the world?

Here’s the history of dollar’s dominance in a nutshell.

After the WWII the US became the center of the global monetary system by being the biggest owner of gold (many of which was bought by force from American people at $20/ounce), to which all currencies were tied back then. The US continued buying world’s gold reserves at a fixed rate of $35/ounce and promising other countries they can redeem it back whenever they want. So everyone just pegged their currency to the dollar and relaxed. But then the US started printing more dollars than they had gold, to the point of not being able to keep their promise. So in 1971 they just announced the end of #dollar convertibility to gold, in what appears to be the scam of the century.

2021. #Bitcoin is a decentralized money promising monetary independence, security and equality to all people of the world. What could be a better acknowledgment of this than the ex-President Trump’s yesterday interview? “I don’t like it because it’s another currency competing against the dollar. Essentially, it’s a currency competing against the dollar. I want the dollar to be the currency of the world.”

Mic drop.
