Bitcoin Mining Council to promote green mining

Elon Musk will not stop tweeting. So instead of attacking him with all the energy that Bitcoin community is capable of, it would be much better to explain him one or two things that might be missing from his reasoning and give a promising solution.

This weekend Elon Musk participated in a meeting with North American miners hosted by Michael Saylor, where they decided to create an organization promoting green mining – Bitcoin Mining Council. The name sounds a bit pompous and contrarian to the values of decentralization, so they really have to make sure this organization sticks to guiding & promoting only. This way, they could encourage green mining and educate the general public without centralizing miners and compromising Bitcoin’s most valuable quality – independence.
